The Nominating Committee of Navigator Credit Union
Pursuant to Article 6 of the bylaws, has nominated the following people for the positions indicated. The results will be announced at the 87th Annual Meeting.
Tommy Leonard Director, Term Ending 2029
Beginning as a member of the Overview Committee in 1993, Tommy has utilized his financial expertise to assist members seeking financial solutions. In 2013, he became an Advisory Member to the Board of Directors and then an elected Board Member in 2016. He was employed by Ingalls Shipbuilding for nearly 40 years, where he completed his tenure as Manager, OPS Administration and Budgets. In addition, he has been an active volunteer in numerous community organizations.
Doug Gautier Director, Term Ending 2029
Prior to retirement, Doug provided integrated logistics support for Austal USA. As a member of Navigator’s Supervisory Committee, the veteran instructor utilizes the knowledge and skills he has acquired from years of shipbuilding and governmental interaction to ensure the credit union is well managed and fundamentally strong. Doug began his volunteer service with Navigator in 1993, and in 2008, he joined the Supervisory Committee as an Advisory member. The Moss Point High School graduate attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and spent a total of 37 years working with Ingalls Shipbuilding.
Robin May Director, Term Ending 2029
Robin has been a Navigator Member since beginning her career at the shipyard more than 30 years ago and was an Industrial Engineering Manager 3 at Huntington Ingalls Industries when she retired. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Southern Mississippi with a major in mathematics and a minor in computer science. Robin brings extensive policy and procedure expertise to her role, where she finds it rewarding to use her knowledge to contribute to the Credit Union and represent all Members. She’s a Coast native, a St. Martin High School alum and enjoys being outdoors with her family camping, fishing and biking.
Door prizes!
Navigator will randomly draw names from the list of members who registered and attended the Annual Meeting to win door prizes*. The door prizes are as follows:
- Four members will win $50 cash;
- Two members will win $250 cash;
- One member will win the grand prize of $500 cash.
